Becky seriously pursued her career when her children left home, one for college and the other to the service of our country; she then went back to college to acquire her degree in photography. Although much of her work is self taught, she studied the masters in the old arts of retouching and hand painting of photographs. Becky loves to photograph areas of Colorado and the Southwest where she was born and raised, emphasizing the history of the area. Photographing the ghost towns and the old west brings that moment in time to life. She feels that the changing seasons and lighting make the possiblilities endless. Also her love is finding old photos, retouching, enlarging and bringing these photos to life to enrich the history they portray.

Becky paints by hand onto the original print mainly with oils and watercolors. The original piece is scanned and printed as limited editions on canvas and lumira prints. Many of the original pieces, framed and matted, are currently on display at the Vail Valley Jet Center. She has also shown her work throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and show lists include most of the western states. Becky also does custom work of your current or historical photos.
